Do case makers already have the dimensions of new iPhone?

I know it isn't out yet but it doesn't seem like there are many cases out there as in previous releases. I seen some on ebay that are ready to ship is it worth the gamble, kind of want to be protected from day 1

I doubt Apple share with manufacturers not in the Made for iPhone program but the dimensions have been in the wild for a few months now so odd are these cases will fit. Always a chance that Apple made a last minute revision that raised a button up 1mm or something. Buy from Amazon or store that you can easily return and you are set.

Right, but that is when the phone is officially released, not months before as the OP is referring to, and to which I responded. Two different situations.
