I’m currently running iOS 14.2 on my iPhone SE (2020). The SE already had a fairly small battery, and since updating to 14 it seems to be worse.
14.1 had massive battery drain to the extent that I couldn’t keep a charge longer than 3 hrs on screen and maybe 5 off (plus the phone would physically get hot).
14.2 has stabilized the battery drain, I now have about 5hrs on screen and 5-6 off.
I currently have 6 widgets on two screens, considering iOS 14 has dropped my battery capacity to 96% (Less than 6 months of use) I’m considering taking a few off to help preserve my battery for both long term and short term use.
TL;DR: I am curious, does having more widgets on screen drain the battery faster? Anecdotal evidence and common sense tells me they would since they are live widgets require refresh.
