Do I have a basis for exchanging my iPhone 4?

1) The home button is very mushy. Like there is resistance when pressing it.

2) Proximity sensor problem. It's huge. Happens all the ****ing time.

Now when I exchange it, do I have to redo all settings, d/l all apps etc or can it sync with iTunes and be like nothing changed?

I think since Apple announced a prox fix was coming it will be hard to replace for that. However it will certainly depend on the store.

That being said if the home button is as you say I think that issue alone would be enough. Kudos to you for your patience in asking instead of marching in like a child.
