When I'm playing a song on my iPhone 3G's internal speaker, if I cover up the speaker to the left of the dock port with my finger, the sound becomes extremely muffled. However, if I block the one to the right, there is essentially little difference. Is this normal or do I have a blown speaker?

I'm a little paranoid since the last Macbook Pro I purchased came new with a totally blown right speaker...maybe it's just my luck.

there is only one speaker on the iphone... the other is a microphone... only mono sound not stereo from the speakers.
