I think my battery may be defective. Every time I go through a cycle the health goes lower and lower. Yesterday it was at 92% and now 88%. I can usually get about 2.5-3 hours on safari with the screen brightness on 2 bars. This is a late 2008 refirb with applecare.

Looks good to me.

The full charge capacity does go down which is the max amount of power the battery can hold.
Your FFC will go down to 80% of the what it original FCC was.

If the FCC goes below 80% and the cycle count is less then 300,thats covered under your warranty.

Applecare/Apple store has correct min requirement for the FCC of all computers.
If its less then the min requirement,they will replace the battery under your warrenty
