Pages 1.02 came with my bundled software but it request a serial number or the purchase of a license. The serial number on my bundled software is not accepted. Is this right? Is pages worth buying for graphic design? I have had my G4 since Feb and am just getting around to checking out Pages.

Do I have to buy license for Pages 1.02?

I use iWork a lot for anything from a paper to a poster, so Pages is certainly worth the $79 I paid for it. I'd be wary about purchasing now, as I found a possible slip on the website... but yes, it's worth buying, as long as you wont be doing really advanced page layouts and stuff, don't get me wrong, Pages can hold it's own.
