Hey guys,
I own a mac with OS X Lion 10.7.3, and I need to format him.
I saw some videos that I need to have Mac OS X Lion from App Store to burn into a USB drive to boot from it. So do I need to buy it or I can use my own OS??

Thanks

PS: Sorry for the bad english!

Your English is pretty good!

Since it appears from your comment your Mac came with Lion preinstalled (?), the app store version will not be available to you without purchasing it.

You can boot to Lion recovery and redownload directly from Apple to do the install. Or if you want to make your own USB installer, you can follow this procedure. Neither of these would require you to repurchase Lion from the app store.
