I am wondering, in order to have apps natively, will they just install automatically, or do I have to do something ?

Do I have to do anything for apps to be installed natively?

If you have the option set to update apps on the watch when new updates come out, they will install automatically. Some that have complications will then have the option to add as complications. Download The Weather Channel app if you want to install a few native app with a complication.
The first time they load it is slow, but then it is pretty quick. I had trouble with Dark Sky at first but then it is nice and fast and working correctly.

Just install the app updates as they become available. They don't run natively until they are updated by their developers
