T-Mobile provides a carrier settings file now which will automatically set such things up for you. No need to mess around with it manually anymore.

Does anyone know about the LTE compatability between an ATT first gen mini and the T-Mobile network?

The first gen Minis had a GSM model and a CDMA model.
