I've been using ATT but I'm switching over. Do I have to modify my APN settings for a first generation iPad mini?

Will I still be able to get LTE with T-Mobile?

Thanks.

T-Mobile provides a carrier settings file now which will automatically set such things up for you.

No need to mess around with it manually anymore.

Thanks! That makes things a bit easier.

Does anyone know about the LTE compatability between an ATT first gen mini and the T-Mobile network?

You should be able to get LTE with T-Mobile on an AT&T 1st gen Mini. The first gen Minis had a GSM model and a CDMA model.

It's all plug and play now.

There aren't many mainstream carriers these days that require manual input save for some MVNOs.
