Hi there!
The situation is as follows: A friend bought a Mac Mini (Late 2011) a few weeks ago and now sold it to another friend. Me being the computer guy, I have been asked to wipe all the data from the previous owner which I will do by reinstalling Lion from the recovery partition.
I found out that my friend has never used the Mac App Store and thus didn't redeem and bind the iLife '11 software to an Apple ID.
As I'm not too adapt with Macs and Lion, I would like to know if I have to redeem the software before reinstalling lion or if it will still be available after reinstalling it.
Thanks!
