Do I have to use iMovie to share a video on MobileMe?

I'm curious to know if I need to use iMovie to load a movie clip to MobileMe?

If I have imported video from my camcorder to my MBP can I just upload these videos directly to mobileme or do they need to be prepped through iMovie?

Well I figured out the answer to my own question...

As I had never loaded a movie file to share on mobileme I wasn't sure what
the process was..but lo and behold you are given that option in iMovie.

Well..needless to say I've been having a lot of fun sharing videos with family and friends! It's great!
