Yes. You either need both or you need neither. Having just one is a pointless middle ground.
Tbh I can see a use for just screen protectors tho if you’re hitting your wrist a lot. Idc about the housing but the screen can be saved by one.
What kind of shape is your wrist in?I use a case and a screen protector. I’ve cracked a screen and dented the replacement Apple Watch series 4 I had. No way going to ruin 2 Series 6. A case has already protected my new watch. I’ve broken two cases since October.
I’m going to protect my investment.

I was just messing with youFine. Never broke it.
Just do a lot of work outside building or tearing stuff down.
Whenever people talk about cases and screen protection on an Apple Watch I ask them the same thing…
Would you put a case or screen protector on an analogue watch? Whether it’s a £10 Casion or a £10,000 Rolex, the answer is probably no. So why would you put one on an Apple Watch?
See the attached photo of a 25 year old Seiko dive watch that I wore daily for a couple of decades. Not a scratch on the crystal. Compare that with the photo of my 11 month old Apple Watch that I posted above, the face of which is covered in scratches.Whenever people talk about cases and screen protection on an Apple Watch I ask them the same thing…

The Seiko doesn't need screen protection, the Apple Watch does.

Curious about whether this Seiko has a sapphire crystal or glass?
have heard much better things about the strength of the Sapphire crystal on the other models and similar things about higher-end regular watches.
I literally did not know this was a thing until 2 minutes ago. Fair enough. Are they common amongst regular watch wearers/enthusiasts or are they something more used by the "worriers"?
