I bought one of them little housings with a built-in screen protector, the issue is it makes the screen quite unresponsive, I can only assume its too thick or something. I am wondering do I actually need one? I did have a tempered glass one but first shower and it fell off. They seem more hassle than they are worth.

It might be helpful to tell others which model Apple Watch do you have, (aluminum or stainless)? If it’s the stainless, then you wouldn’t really need a screen protector due to the Sapphire display.

Personally, I think screen protectors are unnecessary for the Apple Watch, as they are fairly durable enough as they are, unless you’re really worried about everything the display comes into contact with.
