Will my Anker USB-C to C cable enable max speeds on the 40/60W Dynamic Power Adapter with my iPhone 17 Pro Max?
Or do I need a special Thunderbolt cable?

I picked up one at the Apple store today but forgot to ask this question.

You do not need a Thunderbolt cable. In fact, most charging cables are only capable of USB 2 speeds. But data speeds are irrelevant for charging.

You do need a cable capable of charging at the highest wattage the device supports in order to get the fastest charging, but I haven’t seen any charging cables with a limit lower than 60 W.
