I have an HP printer that I want to print to over my WiFi network from my Macpro and Macbookpro. How do I put the printer on the network?

1. Do I need to buy an Airport Express to connect to the printer?

2. Can I use an Airport Express G instead of an N or will that slow my network down?

Thanks.

If the printer is a wireless printer, you can add it to a wireless network without using the USB cable. If it isn't wireless, you can plug it into the AE and share it on the network.

It sounds like you already have a WiFi enabled network; and want to be able to print from the MacBook Pro? You can plug the printer into the MacPro, and use printer sharing to access it from networked computers. If it is necessary to have the printer in a different location than the MacPro, then you'd need either a networked printer, or a network device to connect the printer to.
