Do I need the admin pwd of the destination machine to use Migration Assistant?

I've got a 2019 i9 iMac running Monterey that needs to go into the shop for repair. I'll be using a loaner 16" M1 Pro MBP running Ventura in the interim. I'd like to move my iMac's user account to the MBP using Migration Assistant.

I know that, to use Migration Assistant, I need the admin pwd of the source machine (the iMac), which I have. But it's not clear to me if I'll need the admin pwd of the destination machine (the MBP).

According to this video, an admin pwd is not needed for the destination machine if you're starting from scratch. But my destination machine already has an admin pwd set.
