If you have a PowerPC mac just put in your restore disc and there will be a package to install classic. If you are on an Intel mac there is not classic for you.

Im almost 100% sure you don't need to boot from the CD. When I did it there was just a package that came up with you incerted the CD, I clicked it and it installed. I just needed to reboot after.
