Do I need to cancel my FAN account to pickup reserved iPhone 4?

My wife and I are on her schools FAN account. Should I cancel it before I go into the Apple store today?

AFAIK you won't get the discount on the data plan features but you will get the discount on your voice plan and perhaps messaging..

I just remember when I got me 3G iPhone when it first came out, I had trouble in the Apple store and wasn't able to buy the phone until I called ATT and got rid of the FAN discount. Once ATT removed it, I was able to buy the phone and then we added the FAN discount back. It was a bit of a pain and I'm not sure how it works but my buddy had to do the same thing.

Yeah, in 2009 or so they solved that. I got my iPhone 3G in 2009 direct from AT&T with my FAN with no problems or even a mention of FAN.

I actually do get a discount on the unlimited data plan too.

I ordered from the Premier site just to be safe, but the consensus seems to be that you shouldn't have any trouble at the Apple store.

I get a discount on the Unlimited and the 2G plan but not the 200M plan.
