Do I need to do anything special if I select a fusion drive?

I'm considering a fusion drive and wanted to know if I need to do anything special to optimize performance.

Also - do users here recommend that I use the Mac to Mac transfer of files or just re-install the software I currently have?

Plug it in. Turn it on. Follow the on screen instructions. You will be asked if you want to transfer files during set-up; it's safe, use it-but make sure you have a back up first!
