Do I need to do battery calibration for new MBP TB and how?

I used my new Mac for a few days now. The battery can last for around 7-8 hours for the first few days, but I got 3 hours for a fully charge yesterday. The article in 2013 from Apple suggests to calibrate battery when we receive the new Mac, but do I need to do it in 2016?

After uninstalling Steam and restart my computer.....I know obviously it cannot last that long if I work on this machine, but it's Steam's fault.

No, you do not need to calibrate the battery on newer Mac portables.
