Hi,
I am in the process of upgrading my Macs to Mac OS X Lion..
As you know, once I buy it from the App Store for 29.99$, I can use it for all of my Macs..

But the question is:
Do I need to download it on every Mac again?
Can't I just download it once, and then use the same downloaded App for my other Mac?

Note: I have MacBook Pro, Mac Pro, iMac..

If you open the package contents of the installer and find the dmg file, you can burn it to a DVD and install Lion on other Macs that way. It's worth keeping a DVD backup of the OS anyway incase things don't go to plan later on.

Or you can just copy the installer from your applications folder to a flash drive and copy it to another computer. :)

You don't even have to do that, just drag the installer onto a flash drive and copy it onto the mac you want to install.

Note that if you download it and install before making a backup, Lion will delete the installer automatically at the end of installation.

Thnx for the replys..
I was under the impression that each Mac has a different installer..
thanks
