Hi everybody.

I am using only ONE iPhone 5S and ONE Mac with itunes. I DO sync Music, Audio Books etc. to my phone and use iCloud services and when i get a new phone i restore icloud backups to my phone.

Now i am asking myself if it is really necessary to have all my purchased apps to be copied onto my mac. They have piled up to a few gigabytes which i would like to get rid of...

If an app updates and it's broken or drops a feature you enjoy, you can use the old version stored on your computer to replace it.

Understandable argument, but i am willing to risk that.

So how should i go about getting rid of the apps? Just delete them out of my itunes? I have already "reset warnings" on my phone so i should get asked if i want to copy apps to my itunes next time i sync and have new apps. I am afraid to just delete them because i fear they will get removed from my phone?
