Pretty much this.
I currently have Mojave 10.14 which I had from beta. Do I need to download and install the Mojave image from the Apple Store? I have opted-out from beta a week ago and my last update is 10.14. Is my system going to be the same as the "production" one if i don't?

macOS 10.14.1 will properly be released soon (week or so). I would just wait and update to that from the App Store, this would then put you back on the "production" line for future public updates.

If you would like to remain on public releases of maOS from now till the macOS 10.15 beta comes out next summer, you should disable the option to receive betas in the options.

Thanks for the reply.
I had opted out of the betta from the settings. I went to the App Store and searched for Mojave and then went to download it from the Settings again. I downloaded it and it said that it failed to install it because it "couldn't find it" (after it downloaded it). I have two questions:
1. Why am I not able to select the "Install MacOS updates"? (screenshot with my settings is attached)
2. I have Mojave 10.14 from beta as I said above. The release today is 10.14, is this the same as mine? Or another build (I don't know if this concept exists in MacOS).

The release version of 10.14 is newer than the last beta. To update just search for Mojave in the App Store and you'll get sent back to the Software Update preference to download the update and install it.

So this is why I am not automatically prompted for an update?
Specifically I have version 10.14 18A389. Is this the latest beta or what you all have, the ones that installed Mojave today from the appstore?
