just wondering if anyone knows if i have to keep the 'previous systems' folder on my hard drive? i'm not talking about the system X or system 9 folder-- i would never delete those. this one seems to have a previous version of OS X (i'm using 10.2 now; was using X before, so maybe that's it?) i still have all my system CDs (OS 9, X, 10.2) so if that folder is just a copy for dire emergencies, i could probably just use my actual disks, couldn't i?
i'm trying to free up some space on my hard drive...

You did an archive and install, ya?

That's where all the old stuff was moved to. Then the new system was installed. So if you don't need to get anything out of there (screen savers or something) then by all means delete it.

thanks--

nah, i don't need anything out of there. i must've done archive and install. i don't remember; i generally just leave it at the default selection since i'm no expert on this stuff.
i figured it was ok to delete it, but it's always nice to have confirmation-
thanks!
