Do I need to move downloaded files?

I downloaded a file that contained a number of mp3 tracks (yes it was legal). The file saved into the "Downloads" section of "Finder". How do I put this file into itunes correctly. Do I use "finder" and manually move the file to "Music>itunes"? Or do I leave the downloaded file in "Downloads" and just import the tracks from the itunes application? Or do I need to do something completely different? Thanks

Just use File->Import in iTunes.
