I ordered my iMac (specs in the signature), on Saturday and It has been shipped today. I'm guessing it will most likely arrive on a day I'm at work and I was wondering will my wife be able to sign for the package if its in my name? Or must I do the Pre Sign thing online? Thanks

Do I need to "Pre Sign" my Fedex package?

My girlfriend was able to sign for mine when I wasn't home. Your mileage may vary, though. Call FedEx and ask. At the very least, they might be able to let the driver know that someone else will be signing for it. Just my guess, though.
If a human being is available to sign, you do NOT need to pre-sign.
If you pre-sign, they can literally leave it on your front porch.
I live in a calm neighborhood, but I don't know how long a new iMac would last during the day on my front porch.
