Do I need to preorder??

I plan on going to the Apple store next Friday to get one, do I still need to preorder it? Wasn't sure if there is an in store pickup option or if all preorders are shipped.

Preorders are shipped...
If you plan to go to the store then you don't need to.. Depending what time you go or the demand for the iPhone 5, there may be none left. Thats why people preorder.

Unless you like camping out at a store, I'd pre order.

4S was sold out for weeks after launch, same with 4 if i recall.
