Do I need to renew my developer account?

Ok so I've been enrolled in the iOS developer program for a few years now and since I'm not developing anything anymore, I don't want to renew. I've restored my iOS devices to iOS 7 but I wanted to ask if I need to go back to Mavericks on my mac as well? (I got my access code for Yosemite on my iOS dev portal).
Since the Yosemite public beta begins tomorrow, can I keep Yosemite? Will I still receive updates etc?

You need to sign up for the Public Beta. But no, you'll still receive updates via the App Store.
