Will I need to keep wiping my phone every time a new beta comes out, all the way to final release?

I'm using the registered developer method of "restore phone" and it wiped all my apps and everything... I did have a back up but it didn't restore everything. I assume that's because my PC didn't have the apps installed? Or is it because of the way I updated the phone? And will this happen every time going forward?

I don't want to lose all my game data on games without iCloud saves...

No. Beta updates are sent OTA through Software Update in Settings. You can, however, update to it or restore to it with the .ipsw from the Dev Center if you want to go that route.

Awesome, thank you. I just wanted to make sure I could rest easy installing my games a such and not lose them again in a months time.

Appreciate it :).
