I heard that mac os you don't need anything like defrag etc. But is there any tool needed to clean up system and search for not needed file and etc? Is something like that needed or even exist? I do notice that my shutting down process is getting slower as I put more stuff on my iMac... Starting to get me worry. What might slow things down like that usually?

No, you don't need any "cleaner" or "maintenance" apps to keep your Mac running well, and some of those apps can create problems. What you have stored on your drive doesn't make it slower; only what you have running. Use Activity Monitor and change "My Processes" at the top to "All Processes" to see what you have running. You can also try closing all your apps before you shut down.
