I searched and couldn't really find a definite answer, hopefully someone can offer some insight.

I am currently using tinyumbrella 4.01.01 and have shsh on file for 4.0,4.01 and 4.02. Of course using this version of tinyumbrella I cant get my blobs for 4.1(unless im missing something) so the question is, if I update to the latest version of tinyumbrella so I can save my shsh for 4.1, will I lose my ability to use my 4.0,4.01, and 4.02 blobs??

Why not go to the TinyUmbrella website and download the newest version ?
No, the SHSH files don't need updated, but if you wan't to use TinyUmbrella for anything new, get the latest version.
The hashes are the same, a new version of TU won't "lose" them.

Correct. Hashes are always safely stored on Saurik's server and can also be dumped onto your computer using TU, but newer versions of TU just give you added options, won't take anything away.
