Do I need two sims if I want to switch back and forth?

Hi, Im going to be trying the Tmobile prepaid and have seen some people able to activate on the sim that comes with their phone.

I at first thought that would be great for me but then thought that it might be difficult to manually switch back and forth since for some it required purchase of a tmobile activation kit.

I want to know that if for whatever reason I want to be able to switch to the simple plan post paid and then back or should I just have two sims, the nano and the one it comes with?

You have to have 2 SIM's to switch back and forth. Otherwise you're just inserting or removing a SIM and not switching anything. There's nothing to switch with just one SIM.

I meant like instead of taking out and removing a sim, manually programming it online like with non SIM phones.
