Do I still need the Developer Profile on my iPhone when I installed iOS 16 with the official .ipsw through the finder?

Yes, you’ll just be stuck on beta 1 until you manually update with the beta 2 IPSW.

You can do that IF you have spare iPhones for toying around with betas.

It's usually never a good idea to use beta on a primary iPhone at all unless you like to gamble by installing on a dare.
