iPod touch Do I wait for G3?

OK, I have some cash burning a hole in my pocket, and I'm contemplating an iPod Touch to act as my PDA, music player, etc. (after having my third Palm die, never again).

I see the latest version available is the 2nd generation. After some googling, I see that the 3rd generation is expected in a few months. Is it worth waiting 3 or 4 months, or should I just grab the current 2nd generation and upgrade to OS 3.0?

I'd wait. This late in the game, you're better off. You'll be kicking yourself 3 months from now when you'll be able to get 64 gig for the same price you just paid for 32, and Apple includes some great new feature you gotta have. The waiting game with Apple never ends, but with the new models likely coming early September, just wait.
