Do MacBook Airs still have the screen coating issue?

Hi,

Just a quick one, I’m very tempted to pick up a new M4 Air but I’m wondering if people have had issues over the pasts few years with the anti glare screen coating coming away or scratching on the M2 models or later.

I’ve done some googling and can’t really work out if it’s affecting the newer models.

What’s your experience?

I don't remember this being a thing since the 2015 versions. I could be wrong.

No issues for me on my 2015 Pro, M1 Air, or M4 Air.

My M3 air is still looking good, but it's possible not enough time has passed for the issue to happen.

Edit: I also owned an M1 air before this for 3+ years and no issues. But I am also very nice to my tech. 🤷‍♀️
