I was looking at a 12 Pro Max and noticed that it seems to only fit the same number of apps as the 12 Pro. Is there a way to add an extra row?

doesn't matter how many apps you put in folders you can still only have a row of 4
As I am well aware. The point was that's the way to get more apps on a page. I didn't say it would give you more rows..........
you misread the question , it was can you have more rows....not more apps.
And why would you want more rows? Generally to add more apps and/or so you won’t lose apps when widgets are added. OP didn’t specify the reason for wanting more rows so neither of us really know now do we.
