with numeric gsm on, how many dB do you drop when gripping bare, and gripping with a case?


just trying to see what case is best for the issue.

without case, death grip -101db

and without the case death gripping I gotta hold it tight like choking somebody out and wait, wait and wait some more...then again, I never hold the phone like that, casual left hand holding has no affect on signal for me nor does the "1 finger" on the gap technique.

its a cheap silicone bumper from iLuv. its called the iLuv Edge. its ugly but it does its job until my free apple piece comes in or my element vapor

I just did it with no case and I dropped from -69 or -84. That seems consistent with what I was seeing last night when I tested it as well, a 15 point drop.
I'm letting a friend borrow my bumper until he gets his free case, so I can't test it with a case right now.

hes incorrect....planetbeing's 'Signal' app concurs with the Numeric GSM output and I doubt hes making it up as he goes
