Do Merrell shoes run big or small?

If I normally wear size 13 in Nike runners would I wear size 12, 13 or 14 in Merell hiking shoes?

Typically the conversion from Nike sizes to Merrell sizes is a rather complicated affair requiring a substantial amount of careful figuring. Fortunately for you, however, I have the answer pre-computed from an earlier query that I made myself.

A Nike 13 is roughly equivalent to a Merrell 13, but if you can find the exact size in stock, you will want the size e^(64/25).
