Do Not Disturb and Spotify

Activated the DNDWD feature yesterday and gave it a whirl.
I like it, I think it's a great feature.

Only complaint I have is I couldn't access Spotify from my console.
Since DNSWD was activated, Spotify was locked up.
Is this a bug?

The workaround I found was turn on Spotify before you begin to drive.

Anyone else notice this?
