Do not disturb - mirror iphone.

I tend to keep any conversations which are group messages on do not disturb.
I have a my watch app set to mirror my iphone in regards to both messages and notifications for messages.
But i still get a notification for every text received in that group and it's pretty annoying.
Am i missing something that would enable me to just do not disturb that one conversation on both my phone and watch?
