I was just wondering if anyone uses their Apple Watch with the iPhone in "Do Not Disturb" mode on?

That is what I have been doing with my pebble and I get all notifications fine. I just didn't want my iPhone screen to turn on for every notifications.

You don't need to! If you're wearing the watch the phone won't illuminate or buzz when a notification arrives.

When I put my phone in DND, my watch goes into it too. I can't find a way to have the watch not in DND while the phone is.

Unless it's a notification not sent to the watch, right?

The  watch has really forced me to manage my notifications on both it and my phone.

The default setting for Do Not Disturb on the :apple: watch is set to Mirror iPhone so if you set DND on the iPhone the watch will also enter DND. You can change this under My Watch in the :apple: watch app on the iPhone.

A-ha! Thank you! This resolved what I posted above. I had not noticed that option for some reason.
