I hate to say it, but its 2022 and still EVERY SINGLE notification that is sent to the lock screen have to light up the screen? Seriously? Apple is so concerned about saving the planet and energy, but still every notification have to light up the screen? Is there any way to disable this?

I know I can turn off lock screen in notifications, but then all the notifications are hidden and I have to swipe up on the Lock Screen to reveal them.

Can’t have it both ways. What way do you want notifications to work?
I’d like the notifications to come to the Lock Screen, but not light up the screen. Then it’s easy to see the notifications when I turn on the screen…

I never knew this was an issue until you said it. I can't find any buttons to disable that in settings
