Do people prefer iTunes streaming over Media Server on LAN or not ? If not, why not ?
My own reasons, if i prefer Media Server any day, mostly over lack of content iTunes. While there is is a vast majority of stuff, it also gets removed.
Something a media server, you own, does not, unless you remove it.
That, plus the terrible bandwidth Apple has in the evenings during peak periods gets to the point i must get my money back. And often do thanks to Apple's lack of understanding of "All rentals/purchases are final."
That's the only good thing about all this.... But I still prefer Media server, when even the lowest amount of bandwidth of a customer is never affected.
If Apple could only introduce an "automatic" setting like Netflix doe to adjust quality based on current connection, i would feel more happy.
