I'm going to be upgrading the new iPad Mini 4 from a iPad 2 and i'm looking to purchase a keyboard case. Do previous Mini keyboard cases work for the Mini 4?

No. Not any case/cover glass will fit. This one it longer and thinner. Only the width is still the same.
