Do refurb prices drop as the product cycle comes closer to an end?

Hello,

This is my first post on macrumors.com and I hope to buy a MacBook soon. On apple.com they have a fantastic Refurb 2.4ghz macbook for 1299$. I honestly do not need the laptop until June. Can i anticipate the price to drop even more as the months go on? Just curious.

Sometimes they drop just as a new product is announced. I think this happened with the iMacs. Usually they don't change at all.

Interesting. And sometimes they ship with more RAM than advertised? I think I saw a post about that somehwere...?

I wouldn't anticipate another price drop before June unless a new model comes out, which isn't likely.

That is very rare. But if they sell tens of thousands maybe a few of them might have more.
