I am looking to purchase a refurbished Airport Express. Directly from Apple, it is $74 after tax. From this third party site, which I found through Amazon, it is $64.99 and I can get it with 2-day shipping:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...8&qid=1311834403&sr=8-1&condition=refurbished

I noticed on the Apple website, it says refurbished items carry a 1-year warranty. Would this still hold true if I purchased it through this 3rd party reseller? I am not sure, since Apple would not know when I purchased it for sure (without me providing a receipt).

Only purchase made from the Apple Refurb store qualify for Apple Care, purchases from third parties or even refurb products from authorized resellers will not qualify for Apple Care. At least thats how it was explained to me, hope this helps.
