Do screen protectors fare less well picture quality wise with OLED vs LCD

The one I have is crystal clear. It's my first glass type & all I can compare it to are the film ones I used in the past (on both OLED & LCD screens), which had slight orange peel effect in certain light but were still very clear.
The glass one I have now (Belkin TemperedCurve) however is impressive with how clear it is, either front on, or on an angle.
