Hi

I have a 13 rMBP that I'm thinking of getting a screen protector for due to the fact I use it daily, in some pretty 'hazardous' environments (Uni campus, Train/Underground, Subway, Busses etc).

However, what worries me is 'Staingate'. Therefore my question is, once the screen protector comes off, does it leave any marks or cause stain gate? I'm thinking of using the Moshi iVisor which is sold by Apple (my primitive understanding is that if Apple sells it, then surely it's ok to use?) or the Kuzy screen protectors on Amazon.

Has anyone here, who owns a rMBP 13 and has applied a screen protector, noticed that once they remove the screen protector, it takes some of the coating of the screen with it, thus causing 'staingate'?

Thanks

I can't see any good reason to apply a screen protector to a notebook.
Stain is not the problem.
Just use a clamshell and a proper bag to carry it around.
