I have a MacBook and an iMac, but don't currently own an iPad and am wondering what kind of functionality I can expect between these two devices.

Id love to be able to drag and drop stuff between my 21.5 inch iMac on my Desktop and my 12 inch MacBook that is always with me.

Edit: Actually, im reading up on the Apple website that Universal Control can allow me to control both iMac and MacBook with 1 keyboard and trackpad; if that's the case, that's ideally what I want to be able to do.

Yes to all of the above. It’s actually pretty cool and not a gimmick like a lot of things seem to be…prob the last thing Apple did that gave me the ”wow” factor.

Thank you am looking forward to it.
