Do Siri shortcuts work on Apple Watch ?

If you set up a Siri shortcut on your iPad or iPhone can you run the command via Siri on you Apple Watch ?
 
Not for me. Pretty lame had to setup the shortcuts widget. Most likely will delete the app anyway. Still doesn’t work as good as Alexa Skills.
